TTD gearing up for twin Brahmotsavams in September, October

TIRUMALA: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy has said that the board is gearing up for the grand conduct of twin Brahmotsavams for Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala this year due to the occurrence of the auspicious Adhika Masam.

The TTD will celebrate the annual Salakatla Brahmotsavam between September 18 and 26, 2023, while the Navaratri Brahmotsavam is between October 15 and 23, 2023. Karunakar Reddy along with the TTD executive officer (EO) AV Dharma Reddy unveiled a Brahmotsavam booklet in front of Tirumala temple on Wednesday.

Speaking to media, Karunakar Reddy said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would offer silk robes to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy on behalf of the State Government on the first day of the annual Brahmotsavam on September 18, 2023.

“We will not accept any recommendation letters for VIP Break Darshan from devotees during both the twin Brahmotsavams in September and October. Steps are being taken to provide hassle free darshan for devotees of the presiding deity, vahana sevas, allocation of rooms and annaprasadam, laddus and security,” the TTD chairman said.

TTD JEO Veerabrahmam, Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple chief priests Venugopala Deekshitulu and Krishna Seshachala Deekshitulu, deputy EO Lokanatham and other officials were also present.
