Upon detention, Krishank was teken to Choutuppal police station.

A complaint was lodged against Krishank in Osmania University Police Station alleging that he had created a fake circular in the name of the University authorities and circulated it.

The complainants mentioned that he had put in circulation an order notify that the hostels were being closed due to shortage of water and electricity.

The Congress leaders alleged that the circular was intended at defaming the Congress government in the State.

However, BRS working president K T Rama Rao insisted that a fake circular was indeed put out by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He asserted that the circular put out by Krishank was original.

KTR challenged that he was ready to go to jail if the Chief Minister could prove that the circular put out by Krishank was fake.

He charged the government with pursuing coercive politics.
