HYDERABAD: A sub-inspector of Madhapur police station has gone missing since Monday morning.

The sub-inspector, identified as Rajeshwar Reddy, who joined service in 2014, was last seen leaving home, saying that he was going for Christmas arrangements.

However, concern grew when SI Reddy sent a message to his wife in the afternoon, asking her to take careful of herself and the children.

The police have been trying to contact him, but his phone has been switched off since then. As a result, the Madhapur police launched a search operation to locate SI Reddy and determine his whereabouts.

There are speculations that SI Reddy may have been unable to tolerate the harassment he faced from higher authorities and decided to leave. However, this is mere conjecture, and investigations are ongoing to ascertain the truth behind his disappearance.
