Crocodile sighting near Jurala Dam Road causes panic in Wanaparthy

WANAPARTHY: A crocodile sighting on Friday morning near the Priyadarshini Jurala Project Road in Wanaparthy district caused panic among locals. Pedestrians and fishermen who were out for their daily activities were alarmed by the appearance of the reptile.

The fishermen, who were out for fishing, tied up the crocodile with ropes and safely released it back into the Jurala Project. Reports indicated that whenever a crocodile was spotted in the district, it was usually released into the dam. Over time, this has led to a significant increase in the number of crocodiles in the project area.

Adding to the concern, the heavy rains in the last month have brought a flood of water into the project, which has caused more crocodiles to roam outside, further increasing fear among the local residents.
