Drunk man hammers wife to death near Madanapalle

MADANAPALLE: A woman died after being assaulted with a hammer by her drunk husband in Nakkanaladinne village near Madanapalle town in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday.

According to reports, Munireddy Naik and his wife Santhamma, both were in the habit of consuming alcohol. A fight started between the two after they were drunk. With tempers running high, Munireddy hit his wife with a hammer, killing her on the spot.

The police registered a case and were investigating the matter.
