HYDERABAD: State Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development, and Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that poor people have been living in Ambedkar Nagar for over 30 years and assured that the Government will build double bedroom houses for them on Friday, after Revenue Officials tried to demolish a slum in the area. He also said that those who want to build a private house on their own land will be regularised under GO 58.

He said the Telangana government, under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, would always work for the development and welfare of the poor people and said that the incident was a misunderstanding.

The minister reviewed the incident with Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender, Collector Amay Kumar, RDO Vasantha Kumari, Tehsildar, Corporators Manne Kavita Reddy, Sangeeta Yadav, and other officers in his office at Masab Tank.

Srinivas Yadav said that he would tour Ambedkar Nagar along with officials and public representatives during the week. The minister made it clear that some people were trying to propagandise this incident and that they would not be benefitted.
