HYDERABAD: Former Minister and Congress leader Motkupalli Narsimhulu has found fault with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy who has been procrastinating the implementation of welfare schemes in the name of paucity of funds.

Addressing the media at Basheerbagh Press Club on Monday, he said that a Chief Minister must discover ways of funding major schemes as it was the duty of the Government to take care of its people. “Revanth Reddy says there are no funds. Where is the need for a CM if there are sufficient funds? He must find out ways. Government is not a private firm to balance profit and loss,” Motkupalli said. The person who could do this job would only be called CM, he added.

He said that Revanth Reddy was running a ‘Reddy” raj in the State. “Revanth Reddy did a surgical strike on Madigas by not allocating a single seat for Madigas in the Lok Sabha elections,” Motkupalli said. He said that nine seats were allocated to a particular community. “Does he mean that Madigas and BCs are unfit to go to the Lok Sabha,” he pointed out.

Motkupalli said that Revanth had proved in just four months that KCR was far better as a Chief Minister.
