KTR participates in rally in protest against Sridhar Reddy's brutal murder
KTR and BRS leaders held a rasta roko agitation at Chinnambavi mandal and raised slogans against Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao.
WANAPARTHY: The BRS party reacted strongly to the brutal murder of its leader, Sridhar Reddy, in Wanaparthy district. Upon hearing the news of Reddy's killing by a political faction, BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao immediately left for Lakshmipalli.
A rally was organized to protest what the BRS describes as the Congress's anarchic rule. In the centre of Chinnambavi mandal, a rasta roko agitation was held with Sridhar Reddy's body. BRS activists raised slogans against Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao. They blocked the road and demanded an end to political violence and punishment for the accused.
Later, Sridhar Reddy's body was taken to Lakshmipalli village in a massive rally.
Prominent BRS leaders, including former minister Srinivas Goud, former MLAs B.R. Harshavardhan Reddy, Guvvala Balaraju, Ale Venkateswara Reddy, Nagarkurnool BRS MP candidate R.S. Praveen Kumar, and Manne Krishank, were present at the protest rally.
