PM Modi accuses Congress of disrespecting PV Narasimha Rao's family

HYDERABAD: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday accused the Congress of disrespecting the family of PV Narasimha Rao, alleging that even after his death, they had denied his body entry into the Congress' office. In contrast, he hailed the BJP-NDA government for honoring PV Narasimha Rao with the Bharat Ratna.

Addressing a public meeting in Karimnagar on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "With four phases of polling remaining, and the blessings of the people, the BJP and NDA are marching towards victory. After the third phase of general elections in the country, the Congress and its INDI Alliance parties has suffered a setback."

Criticising both the Congress and the BRS, Prime Minister Modi said that corruption was a common factor between them, while the BJP operated on the principle of 'nation first' rather than 'family first'.

Accusing the Congress of repeatedly mentioning 'Adani and Ambani' for five years and then stopping after the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi questioned the Congress leadership on the amount of black money received from Ambani and Adani.

Further, PM Modi claimed that both the Congress and the BRS had allowed AIMIM to dominate Hyderabad for years, but the BJP has now challenged AIMIM's dominance, much to the discomfort of the Congress and the BRS.

Addressing another public gathering in Warangal, Prime Minister Modi emphasised the importance of stability and experience in leadership, advocating for a continuation of the Modi government for a developed India and Telangana.

After the third phase of elections, Prime Minister Modi noted two significant developments: the rapid progress of NDA's 'Vijay Rath' and the struggle of the Congress to find viable seats, especially evident in Telangana.

Prime Minister Modi also visited the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple at Vemulawada, where he received tilak and Vedic blessings from the temple priests. Expressing his connection with the temple as the MP from Kashi, he prayed for the health and prosperity of all Indians.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to 'X' and expressed, "This morning at Vemulawada, I prayed at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam. As the MP from Kashi, the connection with this Temple felt even greater. I prayed for the good health and prosperity of my fellow 140 crore Indians."
