VIJAYAWADA: The ACB special court on Thursday posted further hearing of the petition filed by the Andhra Pradesh CID for the arrest of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh to January 9.

The CID approached the ACB special court that the TDP leader was openly threatening the police officers investigating several scams in which he and his father Nara Chandrababu Naidu were accused.

The CID in its petition said that the TDP leader had openly said that the names of such officers were included in the Red Book and they would be taken to task once the TDP Government came to power in the State. The Court then directed CID to issue notices to Nara Lokesh.

Nara Lokesh on December 20, in his “Yuvaglam Padayatra’ at Polipalli village, Vizianagaram said that he kept track of all the Government officers, particularly police officers who had been acting on YCP’s command and terrorising TDP cadre with fake cases. “I have all of their names noted down,” he said.
