AMARAVATI: Family members of former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu have filed a petition in the ACB special court in Vijayawada seeking details of his health condition. Naidu was jailed in Rajamahendravaram Central Prison in connection with the multi-crore skill development scam. The court agreed to hear the petition on Tuesday.

Naidu’s family members, expressing concern over his health condition, told the court that they had not received the comprehensive health report of the former Chief Minister so far. They later said that authorities had not yet submitted the physical copy to the ACB court and also to the family members.

They demanded the report prepared by the jail authorities and the report by the team of doctors who checked his health on October 12. They told the court that the jail authorities were refusing to give pertinent information truly reflecting the health condition of Chandrababu Naidu. They pointed out in their petition that the jail authorities were giving information according to their whims and were not disclosing the true picture.

They told the ACB court that the jail authorities kept under wraps the advice of the doctors to provide cooler environs for Naidu inside the jail. They alleged that the health bulletin released by the police did not reflect the advice given by the doctor's team.
