NELLORE: Suspended YSRCP MLA Anam Ramnarayana Reddy on Sunday challenged the party high command to produce the evidence of his cross-voting in MLA quota MLC elections. Responding to his suspension over alleged cross-voting charges, Ramnarayana Reddy addressed the media and made sensational remarks on YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He said that he had come to politics neither to face the CBI or ED cases nor to resort to murder politics.

The former minister said that the Election Commission should reveal if he had cross-voted and questioned as to who was Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy to allege that he had resorted to cross-voting. He said that he was not asked by the Chief Minister to vote for a certain candidate and made clear that there was no chance of his cross-voting when there was no such proposal from the party.

On this occasion, Ramnarayana Reddy accused Sajjala of acquiring Rs 100 crores by using his office as the advisor. He said that it was the responsibility of the party to rectify the mistakes pointed out by its party MLAs.

Anam Ramnarayana Reddy accused Sajjala of trying to isolate him in the party for the last four months and opined that he had told the Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy about the party activities. Stating that people were fed up with the government, the MLA said that the leaders of the party were resorting to corruption by extorting money. He said that the party's high command was not in a position to listen to the leaders and that there was no democracy in the state.

Ramnarayana Reddy said that he would hold a discussion with his followers and take a call on the future course of action.
