Andhra Pradesh appoints 12th PRC Commission to review salaries for State Govt employees

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh Government on Wednesday constituted the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) to review and recommend salary revisions for State Government employees. Retired IAS officer Dr Manmohan Singh was appointed as the Pay Revision Commissioner.

As per a Government Order, the PRC will study various aspects like conditions of service of various categories of employees of the State Government, local bodies, aided institutions, non-teaching staff of the universities including Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and Dearness Allowance (DA).

The commission will submit its report to the Government within one year from the date of assumption of charge of the Pay Revision Commissioner.
