April muhurtham fixed for Pawan Kalyan’s Varahi yatra across Andhra Pradesh

AMARAVATI: After prolonged uncertainty over the date, the muhartham for the beginning of Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan’s Varahi yatra across Andhra Pradesh is finally fixed. As per reports, the actor-turned-politician will hit the road in April for an epic tour of the state in preparation for the next elections.

This being at the same time as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy's bus tour, it is expected that both the yatras would turn the State into a war ground for the activists of the parties.

Now that Pawan Kalyan has finalised the start date for his Varahi yatra, the crucial routemap is also expected to be decided very soon. The party is also expected to set the ball rolling for a few other important tasks like enrolling new memberships in February and organising its foundation-day meeting in March. With Pawan Kalyan kickstarting Jana Sena’s campaigning from April, the party leadership is also expected to simultaneously focus on preparing the party manifesto and identifying potential contestants for the elections.

The Jana Sena, which is putting up a strong show in the last two years in an attempt to improve its image among the public, will be taking the YSRCP head-on as the bus yatras of both Pawan Kalyan and YS Jagan are scheduled around the same time. YS Jagan too has reportedly picked April as the ideal time to start his reachout to the masses before the next general elections.

Pawan Kalyan will also be campaigning in a few parts of Telangana on his Varahi as part of his yatra.

As part of his preparations for the yatra, Pawan Kalyan has recently performed puja for his much-touted campaign chariot. Varahi, the army-green heavy vehicle, which was designed specially for Pawan Kalyan's campaigns and rallies, is all set to fulfill its purpose with this yatra.
