SATTENAPALLE: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief and former Chief Minister has declared that he would implement a Rs 6,000 pension scheme for the differently abled after coming to power in the State.

Assuring a group of differently-abled persons led by MRPS chief Manda Krishna Madiga in Sattenapalle on Monday, Naidu said that the YSRCP Government had scrapped the schemes that were introduced by the TDP Government.

“Today several disabled persons met me in Sattenapally and submitted a memorandum. I have decided to implement the enhanced pension scheme despite the precarious financial condition of the State,” Naidu said. He added that his Government introduced several schemes to encourage talented people from the differently abled and felicitated them on a designated day.

Later responding to the burning of the TDP party office in Krosur of Palnadu district allegedly by YSRCP workers just after midnight on Sunday, he said that the YSRCP was resorting to such acts in desperation.

Taking to X on Monday, Naidu called upon the people of the State to denounce the politics of vengeance by defeating YSRCP in the elections. “The YSRCP goons burned our office in Krosur after our successful ‘Praja Galam’ public meeting in Krosur,” Naidu said.
