HYDERABAD: Apart from being a prominent Supreme Court lawyer, Sidharth Luthra has recently garnered eyeballs for two varied reasons. One, he is TDP president Chandrababu Naidu's counsel and has been given the task to 'rescue' the former Chief Minister from the alleged Skill Development Corporation scam. Naidu has been lodged in the Rajahmundry Central Jail since September 9, 2023, in connection with the scam.

On the other hand, Luthra cryptic tweets on 'X', has become the talk of the town as it tacitly gives a commentary on the ongoing investigation into the skill scam.

On Friday, hours after the High Court dismissed the quash petition of Naidu and the ACB Court extended the custody of the TDP chief by 2 more days, Luthra took to X to share his slice of philosophy, which seemed to have emerged out of frustration.

Har raat ki subah Aati hai, Naya din Ujala laata hai (there is dawn after night and each morning brings light into our lives), Sidharth tweeted.

Earlier, during the course of the legal battle, Luthra had tweeted, "When all has been tried, yet Justice is not in sight, It is then right to pick up the sword, It is then right to fight." This a quote from Zafarnama, written by Guru Gobind Singh Ji to Aurangazeb. This powerful verse, originally penned in 1704, during a time when a peace agreement was violated by Aurangzeb, carries significant historical weight. It signifies the resolute spirit to fight for justice in the face of adversity.

This tweet takes on added significance as Luthra has been at the forefront of fighting against the alleged skill development scam in which Naidu was arrested. Luthra has consistently argued that the case lacks merit and that it represents a political vendetta.

He had also quoted Swami Vivekananda's words from Karma Yoga too, "A man must go about his duties without taking notice of the sneers and the ridicule of the world." In this context, he emphasised the importance of understanding and upholding the principles of justice and piety, as exemplified by the 10th Guru.

Throughout these legal proceedings, Luthra's tweets reflect a sense of frustration and determination in the face of what he perceives as mounting challenges.
