CM Jagan sets up a special committee to track realisation of investments

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has constituted a special committee under the supervision of the Chief Secretary and Industries Secretary along with other IAS officers to track the realisation of investments and has a defined a POC (point of contact) for all the proposals, which will show the dedication and proactiveness of the government.

Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath said:” We are sure we will maintain our 87% investment realization track record as far as GIS proposals are concerned. Developments on the MoUs will be discussed every week with the Chief Minister and we will ensure that at least two investments ground every month.”

In fact, the minister said, a summit like this could not be held in the last three years due to Covid situation and other impediments.

The investors evinced a lot of interest in the State when “I met them to invite them to participate in the mega event.”

CM Jagan has set up a Special Committee under the supervision of the Chief Secretary and Industries Secretary along with IAS officers to track the realisation of investments and has defined a POC (point of contact) for all the proposals, which will show the dedication and proactiveness of the government.
