Hearing on Chandrababu Naidu’s anticipatory bail in IRR case completed, verdict reserved

Advocate General Sriram Subramanyam urged the Court not to give anticipatory bail to Chandrababu Naidu who was facing several cases including that of the skill development scam case

AMARAVATI: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday reserved the verdict in the Inner Ring Road (IRR) alignment scam case and directed the counsels for the Government and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to submit written arguments by Friday.

Advocate General Sriram Subramanyam already completed his arguments urging the Court not to give anticipatory bail to Chandrababu Naidu who was facing several cases including that of the skill development scam case. On Monday senior Supreme Court lawyer Sidharth Luthra completed his arguments by saying that the former CM would cooperate with the investigation and considering his age and health condition he must be given anticipatory bail.

Meanwhile in the multi-crore sand scam case, Advocate General completed his arguments against the anticipatory bail petition filed by Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Mondy and the Court would hear arguments from the Naidu’s side on Tuesday.
