VIJAYAWADA: Questioning Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on his statement that he is lending support to TDP as it has become weak, Andhra Pradesh Government Advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy has asked whether he is taking over the party from Chandrababu Naidu.

Pawan Kalyan, in his rally at Pedana on Wednesday, had said that he had left the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to support Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP as it was going through a difficult phase.

Interacting with the media on Thursday, Sajjala sarcastically remarked if Pawan was taking over the TDP. "How many seats will Pawan Kalyan contest in? How many seats will TDP actually contest in?"

Criticising the propoganda of TDP that Chief Minsiter YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was going to New Delhi to discuss about Chandrababu Naidu with the Centre, Sajjala said, "It is not Jagan who put Chandrababu in jail but the court. The Government has nothing to do with Chandrababu Naidu's cases. He was sent to jail by the court based on evidence. Chief Minister Jagan is going to Delhi to seek funds due to the State. He has brought more funds to the State than any of the previous Governments."
