BOBBILI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy vehemently denounced TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's inflammatory rhetoric against him.

Addressing an election campaign rally at Bobbili in Vizianagaram district on Wednesday, Jagan criticised Charababu's recent comments and past political conduct, emphasising what he described as harmful rhetoric and questionable behaviour by the opposition leader.

Jagan openly questioned Chandrababu Naidu's mental state, drawing attention to the TDP chief's statement, "What if Jagan is killed tomorrow?" He expressed concern over the implications of such rhetoric, highlighting its potentially inciteful nature. "What state of mind is this man going through?" he asked, questioning the suitability of Naidu's leadership in Andhra Pradesh.

In his address, the Chief Minister outlined several criticisms of Chandrababu Naidu's political career, including allegations of betrayal, backstabbing, and a history of violence. He referred to a series of incidents and individuals connected to Chandrababu's past, suggesting a pattern of treachery within the TDP. "Grabbing chairs, backstabbing, lies, betrayal, murders – This is Chandrababu's politics," he declared.

He further accused Chandrababu of inciting violence through his remarks and highlighted past incidents, such as the assassination of prominent TDP figures, including Vangaveeti Mohan Ranga and Dasarathram, which he associated with Chandrababu's conspiracies. He condemned Chandrababu's provocative language and suggested it could lead to violence against political rivals.

Jagan also reminded the audience of Chandrababu Naidu's derogatory comments directed at his late father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, before his untimely death in a helicopter crash. According to Jagan, Naidu had cursed his father, saying, "You will disappear like the wind." These remarks, he argued, demonstrated Chandrababu's tendency to resort to inflammatory rhetoric when challenged.

Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed confidence in the support of the people of Andhra Pradesh, asserting that they do not believe in Chandrababu Naidu's words and are not prepared to accept his statements. He assured his supporters that, despite the hostility directed at him, he would not be deterred, and he would continue to lead with the strength of his convictions and the backing of the people. "Chandrababu, I will not die! In the last 59 months, the people of the state I have supported will save their leader!" he declared.
