Narrow escape for Tirumala devotees in APSRTC bus accident in Tirupati

TIRUPATI: A bus operated by the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) carrying devotees from Tirupati to Tirumala lost control and smashed into a wall on Tirumala Ghat Road on Saturday.

According to reports, the accident occurred as the bus driver attempted to maintain control while avoiding colliding with a jeep and a two-wheeler and smashed with the ghat road's boundary wall.

Minor injuries were sustained by devotees on the bus. Passengers with injuries were evacuated to local hospitals, while passengers who were not injured were taken to Tirumala by another bus. RTC employees brought cranes and dragged the bus out.
