VIJAYAWADA: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court on Thursday adjourned to July 4, 2023 hearing in the case relating to the attack with rooster knife on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam Airport as the counsel for Jagan Mohan Reddy sought time to present his arguments.

On the occasion, the accused J Srinivasa Rao wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court urging him to be release him from jail. ‘’For 1,610 days I was kept in jail without sanctioning a bail and was unaware of how long I would be in jail. The District Law Service Authority should investigate the case registered against me and provide justice. The same has been requested with the court on many occasions to do justice in the case. However, due to lack of response, I am addressing the letter to the Chief Justice,’’ Srinivasa Rao said in his letter to the Chief Justice.
