AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh State administration is gearing up for the swearing-in ceremony of Nara Chandrababu Naidu as Chief Minister on June 12 near the IT Park Medha Towers in Kesarapalli village of Gannavaram mandal.

Before that on June 11, the TDLP will meet in Undavalli and formally elect Chandrababu as their leader and decide on the members of the cabinet of the new Government.

A special gallery for 104 bereaved families of the victims during the YCP rule will be arranged at the venue. The Government invited them to be special guests at the ceremony.

This includes the family of Subrahmanyam, the driver who murdered the YCP MLC and was allegedly door-delivered.

After the swearing-in ceremony on June 12, Chandrababu Naidu and his family members will visit Tirumala on June 13. He will reach Tirumala on June 12 and stay there for the night. On the morning of the 13th, the CM and his family will have a darshan.

Arrangements for the swearing-in

The Secretary of the State Transport and Buildings Department and the State coordinating officer of the program, PS Pradyumna, instructed the officials on Monday to complete the arrangements for the swearing-in of Chandrababu Naidu by the evening of June 11.

He inspected the arrangements along with the officials at the main venue of the Chief Minister's swearing-in ceremony near the IT Park Medha Towers. Senior IAS officer Veera Pandian, State Horticulture Commissioner S S Sridhar, state police officials, IAS, and IPS officers from various districts have been briefed about the arrangements made so far and the arrangements to be made.

Krishna District Collector D.K. Balaji held a meeting with the officials and reviewed the arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradyumna said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Ministers of several states, Union Ministers, legislators, and other public representatives would attend the swearing-in.

He reviewed works on the main stage, barricading, galleries, and sanitation arrangements at the main hall. He also inspected accommodation for dignitaries, issuance of duty passes, and uninterrupted power supply for electric lights, food, water, and snacks.

He said that passes should be issued to celebrities, the public, and the media and necessary seating arrangements should be made. He directed the officials of the horticulture department to ensure that the main stage was decorated properly.

Approach roads should be completed to reach the main hall from the parking places at the selected layout, Airport, Veterinary College, Medha Towers, and Petrol Bunk.

He directed the police officials to ensure that the convoy of the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers of other states, and the Governor from Gannavaram airport to the main venue was arranged in a planned manner without hindrances. CCTVs should be installed in the main stage as well as various passageways, parking areas, and all places.

Ambulances have been kept ready along with medical camps. He said that LED screens should be arranged in all the districts so that people can watch the Chief Minister's swearing-in ceremony through a live telecast link.

District Collector Balaji said that all arrangements were as per the directions of the top officials of the state and in coordination with the officials of all the Government departments for the swearing-in ceremony.

The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Ravinder Kumar, Director Rural Sanitation, Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, Chief Planning Officer, Ashok Khajuria, Assistant Commissioner Development, Angrez Singh, PO IWMP, Sushil Kesar, District Panchayat Officer, Rachna Sharma, besides BDOs, JEEs, Panchayat Inspectors, Gram Sewaks, GRS were present on the occasion.

Traffic diversions for the swearing-in ceremony

The authorities have diverted traffic on several routes in the area where the swearing-in ceremony of Chandrababu as Chief Minister will be held.

Vehicles going towards Chennai from Visakhapatnam diverted from Kathipudi towards Ongole via National Highway 216.

Vehicles coming from Visakhapatnam to Chennai have been diverted at Kattipudi towards Ongole.

Vehicles coming from Chennai to Visakhapatnam:

The route from Ongole to Repalle via Machilipatnam-Losar Bridge-Narsapuram-Amalapuram-Kakinada-Kattipudi has been diverted towards Visakhapatnam.

Tenali-Puligadda-Machilipatnam-Losar Bridge-Narsapuram-Kakinada-Kattipudi from Budampadu.

Vehicles going from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad:

Gaman Bridge-Devarapalli-Jangareddygudem-Ashwaraopeta-Khammam to Hyderabad.

Bhimadolu - Dwarakathirumala - Kamavarapukota - Chintalapudi towards Khammam.

From Eluru bypass - Jangareddygudem via Aswaraopet - Khammam towards Hyderabad.

Eluru Bypass - From Chintalapudi via Sattupalli.

Hanuman Junction-Nuzvid, Mylavaram-Ibrahimpatnam-Nandigama to Hyderabad.

Vehicles coming from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam:

Nandigama-Madhira-Vyra-Sattupalli-Aswaraopet-Jangareddygudem-Devarapalli-Gamana Bridge towards Visakhapatnam.

Ibrahimpatnam - Mylavaram - Nuzvid - Hanuman Junction towards Visakhapatnam via Eluru Bypass.

Ramavarappadu-Nunna-Sampula Canal-Velagaleru-G. Konduru-Mailavaram-Nuziveedu-Hanuman Junction-Eluru Bypass towards Visakhapatnam.

100 feet road from Vijayawada via Enikepadu - Tadigadapa - Kankipadu - Pamarru - Gudivada towards Bhimavaram.
