RTC Garuda bus overturns in NTR district, 10 injured

HYDERABAD: In a tragic incident that happened near Chillakallu toll plaza in the NTR district on Wednesday, an RTC Garuda bus overturned, leaving 10 passengers injured.

Reportedly, the RTC Garuda bus, travelling from Vijayawada to Miyapur hit a divider and overturned. One injured person was fighting for his life while six others were seriously injured.

Passengers suspected that the driver fell asleep while driving, while the driver said that it was due to less lighting on the highway he lost control. A case has been registered and the police were investigating.

The injured were moved to Jaggaiyapet Government Hospital for treatment.
