RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: Counsel for Nara Chandrababu Naidu and eminent Supreme Court Lawyer Sidharth Luthra, met his client at the Rajamahendravaram Central Prison on Wednesday under the ‘Mulaqat’ provision.

The meeting of Luthra with the jailed TDP national president acquired prominence as several petitions against Chandrababu Naidu were waiting to be heard at the ACB Special Court and the Andhra Pradesh High Court. Even Chandrababu Naidu’s lawyers also filed a remand review petition and a petition seeking quashing of the FIR. Luthra however did not respond to the request of media waiting outside the jail for comment.

He then met party working president Nara Lokesh at his camp office and explianed him the the details of the meeting with Chandrababu Naidu.

Meanwhile, the tweet with the tag ‘motto of the day’ of Sidharth Luthra quoting the Zafarnama written by tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh, addressing Aurangzeb became viral in social media. “When all has been tried, yet justice not in sight, it is then right to fight, it is then right to pick up the sword, “ he tweeted, reflecting the mood of the renowned lawyer.
