AMARAVATHI: Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government, has criticised the TDP-Jana Sena alliance's first list of candidates, stating that it reveals the pitiable state of Pawan Kalyan. He questioned Pawan's strategy of contesting just only 24 seats and expressed his sympathy for his apparent lack of clarity in declaring candidates for those few seats.

Highlighting Pawan Kalyan's previous election defeats in the constituencies he had contested, Sajjala sarcastically suggested that Pawan should take up a vice-presidential position in the TDP. He hinted that the remaining seats might also have TDP candidates, indicating that decisions for Jana Sena candidates were being influenced by Chandrababu Naidu.

Sajjala urged Pawan's supporters to rethink their allegiance, criticising Pawan for his inability to justify supporting Chandrababu Naidu and questioning his reasons for degrading himself.

He also pointed out lack of leadership qualities in Pawan, said that Chandrababu Naidu could be driving the alliance's decisions.

Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy further stated that Pawan Kalyan had no idea on where he would contest from and questioned how would he question the government with merely contesting in 24 seats. He also asked Pawan Kalyan how he could support the TDP, which already lost its sheen and stated that Pawan Kalyan was trying for the BJP alliance along with the TDP despite there was response from the national leadership. He said it showed the Jana Sena's stature before the BJP.

Sajjala confidently stated that regardless of the candidates and seats in the upcoming elections, the YCP faced no challenge and would emerge victorious. The remarks by Sajjala underscored the fast changing political dynamics in Andhra Pradesh as the election season approached.
