HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) police are currently searching for Andhra Pradesh TDP leader and former IPS officer, Mandra Sivananda Reddy. Hyderabad CCC police reportedly conducted a search at his residence in Allur, in Nandikotkur mandal of Nandyal district. However, he reportedly escaped from the police.

Mandra Sivananda Reddy is suspected of being involved in an illegal land grabbing case, wherein he allegedly registered valuable government lands in Hyderabad without authorisation. Additionally, he is accused of fabricating documents for 50 acres of government land, with an estimated worth of thousands crores, in the suburbs of Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. It is alleged that several land deals were orchestrated in collaboration with gangster Nayeem.
