PRAKASAM: Radha, the wife of a techie, was found dead in Zillellapadu village of Veligandla mandal in Prakasam district on Wednesday night amid suspicion of her murder to evade repayment of money borrowed from her.

According to Pamarru Circle Inspector Srinivas Rao, Radha (35), a native of Zillellapadu in Veligandla mandal, was married to Kota Mohan Reddy, a software employee hailing from Kodada in Nalgonda district. While the couple was residing in Hyderabad, Radha had recently come to the village to take part in the local Chowdeshwari festival.

On Wednesday evening, Radha left home after informing her parents that she was going to Kanigiri on some personal work and did not return till late in the night. Based on a complaint from the parents late in the night, the police traced her to Jillellapadu Road using her mobile phone location. On reaching the spot, they however found Radha dead.

The police, after their preliminary inquiry, suspect it to be a murder and promised to reveal full details of it after a detailed investigation.

On the other hand, Radha's father Sudhakar claimed that his daughter went to meet a person in Gundlapalli village In Veligandla mandal after receiving a message from the latter saying that he would return the debt borrowed from Radha.

Sudhakar, along with the locals, suspect that the person from Gandlopalli, who borrowed money, could have murdered Radha. The identity of the suspect could not immediately be established. The police, meanwhile, registered a case of death occurring under suspicious circumstances and are investigating it.
