HYDERABAD: Three Telugu youths hailing from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were killed in a ghastly road crash in the United States in the early hours of Wednesday. The tragic incident happened in the Suffield area of Connecticut when the minivan in which they were travelling was involved in a collision with a truck.

The three Telugu youngsters who died in the mishap were identified as Pattanshetty Sai Narasimha, Prem Kumar Reddy and Pavani, all in their early twenties. Sai Narasimha (23) hailed from Kadiam mandal of East Godavari district while Prem Kumar Reddy belonged to Hyderabad. Pavani, the other casualty, was from Warangal. Their minivan collided with the truck apparently due to thick fog.

Five other persons, who were in the minivan, suffered injuries and were currently being treated at a hospital, reports said. Siddireddy Aishwarya, who was also from Kadiam mandal, was among the injured.

The news of Sai Narsimha's death left his family members devastated back home. Only two days back, Sai Narsimha spoke to his parents through a video call them two-days ago on the occasion of Diwali, and now the news of his death was heartbreaking, they said.
