VIJAYAWADA: Maharashtra MP and Actress Navneet Kaur, veteran actress Ramya Krishna, Khushbu Sundar, Kavitha, Radhika, and Meena condemned TDP leader and ex-minister Bandaru Sathyanarayana Murthy's disparaging remarks and expressed solidarity with Andhra Pradesh minister RK Roja.

TDP leader and ex-minister Bandaru Satyanarayana made misogynistic remarks against Roja stating that she had acted in ‘blue films’ and accused her of having sexual relations.

YSRCP Minister and actor RK Roja slammed TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana for making derogatory and misogynistic comments against her, expressed disappointment with TDP for encouraging such sexist remarks against her.

Veteran actress Radhika Sarath Kumar took to 'X' (Formally Twitter) and condemned the derogatory statements of TDP leader, and his disparaging comments about women in public life, particularly about her character.

Khushbu Sundar, a prominent actress, condemned the misogynistic mindset of Bandaru and demanded a public apology in support of RK Roja.

Kushbu said, "She has come out in support of Roja not only as a friend, but also as a woman, and that she will fight for her until Bandaru Satyanarayana apologizes publicly."

Joining the support of RK Roja, veteran Ramya Krishnan said condemned degoratory comments made by Bandaru Satyanarayana. She urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take appropriate action against Satyanarayana.

Veteran actress Meena Sagar said, "I strongly condemned the derogatory comments made by Bandaru Satynarayana It's a shame he's trying to do the character assassination of a successful woman. Roja is my good friend with whom I have worked for many years. It is clear that he is jealous of women's success, but today's women are not weak; in fact, we are far stronger and more empowered. We will fight against Satyanarayana's comments until he delivers a public apology."
