RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM: Former Minister and TDP senior leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has lamented the lack of proper facilities and difficult conditions for former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Rajamahendravaram Central Prison.

On September 11, Naidu was remanded to judicial custody in the multi-crore Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation. Yanamala, accompanied by Naidu's wife Nara Bhuvaneswari and Nara Brahamani met Naidu, through the 'mulaqaat' facility at the prison on Monday. The trio spent almost 45 minutes in jail with Naidu.

Speaking to media outside the jail after meeting Naidu, Yanamala said, "Chandrababu Naidu has not committed any crime. The YSRCP Government intentionally filed false cases against Naidu and is harassing him. Naidu always strives hard for the development of Andhra Pradesh and even inside the jail he is talking about the welfare of people."

The TDP senior leader alleged that the YSRCP Government was destroying the developments done by the TDP. Yanamala criticised that the jail authorities lent a deaf ear to the plea made by Naidu's family members to provide proper facilities for him in the jail. He also thanked the national leaders who came and extended solidarity through their statements, condemning the arrest of Naidu.

Earlier in the day, Nara Bhuvaneswari along with Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna’s wife Vasundhara offered special prayers at Sri Siddhi Lakshmi Ganapathi temple for the proper health and well being of Naidu.
