AMARAVATI: Incumbent Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday convened a meeting with party MLAs and MPs at his residence in Tadepalli, Vijayawada.

Reportedly, he discussed the consequences of the party's defeat with senior leaders such as Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, and Perni Nani.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, along with YSRCP leaders and party cadres, expressed shock after the party's significant loss in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections, securing only 11 seats compared to the anticipated 175 seats. During his press conference before resigning from the post of Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS wondered why the YSR Congress suffered defeat despite implementing several welfare schemes that benefited crores of people in the State.
