CHITTOOR: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched a scathing attack on TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for heaping praise on his father-in-law and TDP founder-president NT Rama Rao (NTR), whom the latter backstabbed to build his own political career.

Addressing a mammoth public gathering in Nagari, Chittoor district after disbursing the Jagananna Vidya Deevena for students on Monday, YS Jagan alleged that Chandrababu Naidu, who had exploited NTR's image in every way to come to power in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh went to participate in the release of a commemorative Rs-100 coin featuring him, in New Delhi. "This shows Naidu's attitude to gain sympathy and political mileage ahead of the elections in the guise of praising NTR," YS Jagan said.

On Chandrababu’s visit to New Delhi to lodge complaints about bogus voters in Andhra Pradesh with the Election Commission of India (ECI), YS Jagan said, “It is very strange. How can Chandrababu Naidu himself complain about bogus voters in Andhra Pradesh to ECI as he is the mastermind behind it? Nobody will resort to such conspiracies and utter outrageous lies, unlike Chandrababu,” the Chief Minister said.

YS Jagan alleged that Chandrababu would resort to any kind of activity to come back to power. “Almost two-and a-half decades ago, Naidu became the Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. But there is no single scheme of his that brings him to mind. The opposition leader, who has no credit to claim, is resorting to law and order violations in the State by provoking his party cadre to attack police during his roadshows and visits,” he said.
