AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy convened a review meeting of the roads department on Monday and asked employees to complete the building of new roads and repair old roads on priority.

He approved the use of FDR (full depth reclamation) technology in his efforts to produce high-quality, long-lasting roads. During the review meeting, the Chief Minister asked officials to consider each constituency as a separate entity and to rebuild all key roadways throughout the districts.

YS Jagan, who set a deadline of June-July for officials to complete the first phase of development, also asked officials to actively monitor road infrastructure projects.

He launched the Andhra Pradesh Consistent Monitoring of Municipal Services(APCMMS) application to address this. The Urban Development Department's app would assist officials in monitoring real-time issues.

In addition, Chief Minister Jagan asked officials to hasten the completion of unfinished bridges and to prioritise the Kadapa and Bangalore railway lines. He also asked that the road from Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram be completed as soon as possible.

The Chief Minister also asked authorities to communicate their deliverables to the public and inform them about the work being done in their respective areas in order to counter the negative campaign of the yellow media.
