YS Sharmila files nomination for Kadapa Lok Sabha seat

KADAPA: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president YS Sharmila has filed her nomination papers from the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency.
Before filing her nomination on Saturday, Sharmila paid her respects to former Chief Minister and her father YS Rajasekhara Reddy at the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya. Sharmila took out a huge road rally on her way to file nomination. She was accompined by Suneetha Narreddy and others during the submission of nomination papers to the returning officer.
Sharing a video of her filing of nomination on X, Sharmila wrote, "Filed nomination for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat. I am hopeful that the people will bless me in this fight."
"The people of Kadapa have not yet forgotten YSR and Vivekananda. We are confident that they will remember them and vote this time for the Congress. Are the people of Kadapa on this side of justice or on the side of crime?" Sharmila asked.
