VISAKHAPATNAM: The YSRCP, on Friday, said that the party has a clear agenda on the 3-capital policy and that it is determined to develop all the regions of the state equally and provide doorstep delivery of governance. Speaking a day ahead of the massive Visakha Garjana Sabha organised by the Joint Action Committee (JAC), the party's senior-most leader and Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) Chairman YV Subba Reddy slammed the opposition for trying to mislead the people. He asserted that YSRCP is keen to develop Amaravati along with Kurnool and Vishakhapatnam.

"YSRCP government is establishing a legislative capital in Amaravati. Opposition parties are trying to misguide the public by saying that the YSRCP is trying to stall the development in Amaravati, which is not true," he said.

Rebutting the claims of opposition parties, Subba Reddy stated that while the state government is committed to develop Amaravati as a legislative capital, Vizag also needs to be developed as an administrative capital.

"Vizag is developed in all measures and we need not spend so much on developing the city further. With the existing establishments in Vizag, we can immediately start functioning as the executive capital. We must use funds judiciously. We as a government have our priorities in place. Why spend so many lakhs of crores on developing Amaravati when you already have an existing developed city that can be made the executive capital? Also, we want to establish Kurnool as the judicial capital. That is the motto of our Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy who wants to ensure the de-centralization of administration," said the TTD Chairman. He further added that the three capitals were the wish of the Andhra Pradesh people and hence we are supporting JAC Visakha Garjana.
