HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh ruling party YSRCP's IT wing on Saturday came up with a unique concept by setting up an exclusive IT Army for the party service.

YSRCP IT Wing president P Suneel Kumar Reddy unveiled the concept ‘Mission IT army’ at a gathering which was held in HITEC City in Hyderabad on the sidelines of the IT wing meet and greet summit.

More than 2,000 professionals from the IT sector and party sympathisers thronged the meet. Speaking on the occasion, Suneel Kumar Reddy explained to the cadre about the future activities and interacted with them to elicit their views for future activities.

Suneel Kumar Reddy said that the organisation was connecting IT professionals across the nation, and the IT wing would act as a bridge between the party and IT professionals.

He urged the YSRCP IT wing members to visit rural areas and explain the achievements of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the government. The YSRCP IT Wing currently was one of the strongest units.

IT army to connect the dots

Elaborating about IT wing activities, Suneel Kumar Reddy said that the army would fill the gaps and connect dots and ensure the IT professionals were aligned with the party and its leaders. The IT wing designed and developed a dedicated exclusive portal for this purpose.

The party’s IT activities and sympathisers would login to this portal and register themselves as members of IT Army.

"We are aiming to bring at least one lakh IT professionals on to this platform and would certainly create a mammoth IT army, no other party would have such a strong army. “We would go to the rural pockets, touch the rural engineering graduates and students, and help them to get better placements and excellent career guidance, "Suneel Reddy said.

"Every IT professionals must visit their nearest rural places in Andhra Pradesh, interact with rural techies and student communities, help them get better opportunities, and campaign about Jagan's able ruling," he said.

He said Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy was giving utmost priority in developing the IT investments in the State.

Now Andhra Pradesh got recognition across the globe as an investment-friendly state, the State topped the list in ease of doing business in India and was giving a new hope for the investors as well as IT players. Many IT firms were looking forward to investing and establishing their campuses in Andhra Pradesh.

Vizag would soon become a major IT hub in Andhra Pradesh and would definitely compete with any other city where IT was developed in India.

Tirupati and Anantapur districts would also be developed into major IT destinations.

Adani Data Centre would become a boon for Vizag development; it alone would provide 50,000 jobs. The AP Government's dedicated IT policy would provide another 50,000 IT jobs within another three years.

Suneel Kumar Reddy urged the public to be vigilant as the TDP and its leaders were trying to “deceive the public” by copying the YSRCP and other parties’ manifestos. The TDP had no right to ask for votes as the Chandrababu regime miserably failed to fulfil its promises, he said.
