Jagan gifts Montblanc pen worth Rs 70,000 to infant in AP

AMARAVATI: In a rather 'cute' incident, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganamohan Reddy gifted his Montblanc pen, which costs around Rs 40,000 to Rs 70,000, to an infant, in Ambedkar Konaseema district on Tuesday, while he was on his two-day tour in the flood-hit areas of the State.

While reading a document given by the infant's mother, the Chief Minister held the baby, who grabbed the pen from his pocket. Jagan then gifted the pen to the baby, leaving the parents in amusement.

The mother said that the pen and Jagan's gesture were priceless.

Reportedly, the Montblanc pen was precious to the Chief Minister – he carried it to every meeting and event.
