SS Rajamouli's RRR made everyone proud by winning an Oscar this year. The film's composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose won an Oscar for Best Original Song (Naatu Naatu). Celebrating the phenomenal achievement, the Telugu film industry felicitated the winners the other day in Hyderabad. However, the absence of star heroes has now stirred a discussion in Tollywood.

It is appreciable that an event has been organized to felicitate the Oscar award winners but what's shocking is the absence of the star heroes and senior actors in the film industry who owned the success of RRR on public platforms. A lot of people have opined the same on social media.

The absence of the film's leading stars, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, was a major disappointment for fans eagerly waiting to see them together on stage. While Charan had just returned from a holiday in the Maldives, Jr NTR had wrapped up the first schedule of #NTR30 in Hyderabad. The absence of other star heroes and heroines was also surprising, as none of them were present to honour the "RRR" team.

It is unclear why the likes of Megastar Chiru, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vijay Devarakonda and many other happening heroes were not present at the event.

On the other hand, The Cinematography Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh attended the event.

Telangana's Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that everyone prayed for RRR's Oscar success, and finally, we won it. He congratulated Rajamouli, Keeravani, and Chandrabose on this success.

Telangana's Sports Minister Srinivas Goud said, "Winning a Nandi award will be a big achievement for many Telugu films. As RRR won an Oscar, we all should be very proud."

Andhra Pradesh's Cinematography Minister, Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna, congratulated RRR's team on behalf of the AP government.

Meanwhile, Keeravani dedicated Naatu Naatu's success to Rajamouli, choreographer Prem Rakshit, actors Jr NTR and Ram Charan, and the entire unit of RRR. On the other side, Chandrabose thanked Gurra Srinath, who asked him to become a lyricist, and Raghavendra Rao and Keeravani for giving him a big breakthrough with Pelli Sandadi.
