HYDERABAD: Right from the day it hit the screens, Adipurush has been generating a polarizing response from the audience. The makers tweaked many Ramayana sequences in the movie. Audiences couldn't digest those changes.

Especially, the film was heavily criticized for its dialogue. Hanuman's dialogues during the "Lanka Dahan" sequence drew seven criticism. Initially, director Om Raut and writer Manoj Muntashir defended their movie. They said that Adipurush is inspired by Ramayana but is not based on the mythological epic. They also defended the usage of Hanuman's dialogues in Lanka.

But as the criticism was heavy, the makers have now decided to change the problematic dialogues. Announcing the same, the team gave an official statement, which read, "There's nothing beyond the sentiments of audiences and harmony. Team Adipurush in respect of public opinion, revamps dialogues for unifying film experience."

Now they are trying to do the damage control but is it too late? Already, audiences are calling Om Raut and Manoj cheaters for changing their words before and after the release. Now, we have to see if the change in dialogues will do any good to the film.
