Akhil's 'Agent' failed to make use of 'RRR' Oscars Craze

Akhil Akkineni debuted seven years ago but has yet to cement his position as a bankable actor in the industry. His most ambitious project, Agent, is gearing up for release this month. However, the makers are trying to generate buzz around this movie.

Until now, a few songs from the film have been released, but none managed to create an impact. Recently, a song titled Rama Krishna was released. Hip Hop Tamizha composed the song, and Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose penned the lyrics of it.

The makers could have created buzz by heavily promoting the song as the product of an Academy Award winner. But they didn't do it. They failed to use the craze Chandrabose is enjoying right now.

Even Akkineni fans are complaining the same. They feel that Agent's promotions aren't being handled well, and it needs to be promoted heavily to create buzz among the audience, pointing out the importance of the success of the audio album ahead of the film's release.

Directed by Surender Reddy, this spy thriller features Sakshi Vaidhya as the female lead. Mammooty plays a key role in the movie.
