Alia opens up on 'twins' rumours

Bollywood stalwarts Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in April this year. In June, Alia announced her pregnancy and also posted her scan pictures on social media. Ever since Alia announced her pregnancy, it became a hot topic in B-Town.

During one of the promotional interviews of Shamshera, Ranbir said that he is expecting twins with Alia. Later, he said that it was part of a joke. But rumours started spreading all over social media saying that the couple is expecting twins.

Recently, Alia was asked about the same in her interaction with RJ Siddharth Kanan. The actress denied the rumours. She said that Ranbir was doing some joke and eventually, he shot himself in the foot. She stated that we don't have enough things in the headlines these days in the country. Alia requested everyone not to believe in rumours.

Currently, Alia is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Darlings. Starring Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew in the other lead roles, this movie will have a direct premiere on Netflix on August 5. Alia produced the project along with Red Chillies Entertainment.
