Superstar Mahesh Babu's new film Guntur Kaaram, which was released during Sankranthi, has become a big hit at the box office. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Naga Vamshi, the film has now created an all-time record in the regional films category.
The film completed a run of one week at the box office and the gross revenue has crossed 200 Cr across the globe. The team has officially confirmed the number on social media today that the movie minted a revenue of 212 Cr rupees gross at the box office.
The team also claimed that it is an all-time record in regional films and mentioned that Guntur Kaaram is the Super Sankranthi Blockbuster. Despite the competition from other films at the box office for this festival season, the film managed to survive with good profits.
Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary played the film's heroines. Thaman scored the film's music. The film also features Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, Rahul Ravindran, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Eeshwari Rao, Jayaram, Raghubabu and others.
