HYDERABAD: Amidst the legal tussle surrounding the OTT release of the film Agent, producer Anil Sunkara has offered insight into the situation. He candidly addressed the court case lodged against the film, attributing it to unresolved issues related to the film's distribution.
Anil Sunkara revealed that a buyer of the film had incurred losses, and while he wasn't legally obligated to compensate, he felt a moral responsibility to assist. He emphasized the inherent risks and uncertainties in business, stressing that blame-shifting after incurring losses isn't justified. Despite facing legal challenges, Sunkara remained resolute, asserting that he couldn't be intimidated.
In the midst of these legal battles, "Ooru Peru Bhairavakona" is proceeding with its planned release on Friday, with premieres already held on Wednesday and Thursday night. Encouragingly, feedback from these premieres has been positive, providing a boost to the film's makers.
