Singer Sravana Bhargavi needs no introduction to the Telugu audiences. Apart from singing many popular film songs, she is also regularly seen in multiple singing reality shows on television. Recently, Sravana Bhargavi came up with the cover version of Annamacharya keerthana 'Oka Pari'. The video of her rendition has now stirred controversy.

Harinarayana Charyulu, who belongs to the family of Annamayya, is unhappy with the way this track was shot. He said that Annamacharya's elder son Pedda Tirumalacharya used to recite this song while performing Abhishekham to Lord Venkateshwara.

He alleged that Sravana Bhargavi ruined the purity of the devotional song by giving objectionable poses. He condemned the way Bhargavi used the song to definite her beauty. He further added when Sravana Bhargavi was questioned about the same, she responded in a rude way. Harinarayana Charyulu stated that he will file a complaint against this song in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) board office. He also said that he is ready to file a case in court if needed.

Meanwhile, Sravana Bhargavi stated that the video has no obscenity. She alleged that only when a female singer comes up with a song, people create controversy but give a blind eye when a male singer does the same.
