HYDERABAD: Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's stardom has once again proven its might as the collections of "BRO" soar high. Despite facing mixed reviews and political controversies in Andhra Pradesh, and the disruptions caused by heavy rains in Nizam, the film is showcasing its box office potential during its first weekend.

In the Nizam region alone, although there was a slight dip in collections compared to Saturday, "BRO" managed to rake in a whopping ₹4.2+ crore on Sunday, bringing the first-weekend Nizam collections to an impressive 'share' of nearly ₹17+ crore. If we consider all other regions, the total collection stands at around ₹55+ crores in terms of 'share' from all territories.

The trade reports say that the film has collected almost 60 percent of the investment already from the theatrical rights itself. Now, the makers will have to land at a safe zone with the rest of the revenue. The film is decent in the overseas market too.

Directed by Samudhrakani, with screenplay and dialogues written by Trivikram, "BRO" features Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in prominent roles. Priya Prakash Varrier and Ketika Sharma are also a part of the film along with Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Ali Reza, and others.
