Bus carrying Pushpa-2 film crew rams into TSRTC bus near Narketpally

HYDERABAD: A private bus carrying the film crew of Pushpa-2 met with an accident after it rammed into a stranded TSRTC bus from behind near Narketpally on Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway in the wee hours of Wednesday.

According to reports, the private bus carrying the film crew was traveling to Hyderabad from Srikakulam after finishing the movie’s shooting schedule. After reaching Narkatepally, the bus driver hit from behind the TSRTC bus, which was stopped on the wayside for repairs. Two members of the film crew sustained serious injuries while several others received minor injuries in the accident. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and their health condition is stable.

Upon receiving information about the incident, a police team rushed to the spot and cleared the traffic which came to a standstill for a brief while due to the accident. The police also launched an investigation into the mishap.
