HYDERABAD: Natural Star Nani is prepping up for the release of his new film Dasara. This Srikanth Odela directorial will hit the screens on March 30. The film got censored recently. If the ongoing reports are anything to go by, the censor board ordered a high number of cuts for the movie.

According to the sources, as many as 36 cuts were suggested by the censor board for Dasara. Apparently, 20 cuts were ordered in the first half and 16 cuts in the second half. It is heard that the censor board asked makers to remove the objectionable visuals and dialogue.

We hear that the board ordered to mute the cuss words and asked the makers to increase the font of smoking and drinking statutory warnings and blur the violent sequences with computer graphics (CG).

After removing the sequences as per the censor board's suggestions, the runtime has been locked at 2 hours 39 minutes. The film is now all set for a grand release. We have to see if these multiple censor cuts will affect the film's flavour or not. Dasara will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Tamil.
