Chiranjeevi thanks Salman Khan

HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi's Godfather is having a sensational run in theatres. After getting released on October 5, this political drama gained positive word of mouth from both critics as well as audiences. People are flocking to theatres to watch the film during this holiday season.

Bollywood star Salman Khan played a brief yet important cameo in the movie. Even his appearance is getting a good response from the audience. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi has now thanked Salman for acting in this film.

He took to social media to thank Salman through a video. In the video, Chiru said, "Thank you, my dear Sallu Bhai and congratulations to you too. Because Masoom Bhai is a force behind Godfather's stupendous success. Thank you. I love you so much. Vande Mataram." Sharing the video, he wrote, "Thank you Sallu bhai @beingsalmankhan !! @alwaysramcharan #godfather."

Godfather is receiving a good response in North India as well. Salman's presence helped the film in getting a good buzz in the northern circuit. Godfather is directed by Mohan Raja. It features Satya Dev, Nayanthara, Murali Sharma, Sunil and Brahmaji in the other important roles. Thaman composed the music for this film.
