The Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation has called for an indefinite strike a couple of days ago, demanding a hike in the payment of cine workers. All shootings and film-related works were stopped on Thursday due to this strike.

Immediately, Film Producers' Council held a meeting with the Employees Federation to discuss the issue. After the talks, the federation called off the strike and said that all workers will be participating in the shoot from today.

It was stated that the coordination committee headed by Dil Raju will look into the matter of increasing the daily wages of cine workers and come up with a resolution soon. The Federation representative said that the producers' council agreed to meet their demands. The revised wages are expected to come into effect in a day or two. The Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation represents 24 associations and unions of cine workers.

Due to the strike by 20,000 workers, around 25 film shootings were affected the other day. Finally, Telangana Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav had to intervene and ask both producers' council and the employees federation to meet and resolve the issue.
